Origins

Sire : COMME IL FAUT

Son of the great winner Cornet Obolensky and "La jument du Siècle" Ratina Z, Comme Il Faut was World Reserve Champion at Lanaken for 5-year-olds and German Reserve Champion at 6. He won the GP World Cup in Madrid, the GP Global Champions Tour in Vienna, the GP3* in Paterborn twice, the GP CSI5*-W in London Olympia, the team silver medal and 5th individually at the European Championships in Rotterdam, 3rd in the GP 160 World Cup CSIW5* in Leipzig... 

Dam : ANNATOU Z

ANNATOU Z is a daughter of ARTOS Z, who descends from the legendary ALME Z. Although ARTOS Z's production has been limited, she is of the highest quality, as many of her offspring have reached the highest level. Among them is AS COLD AS ICE Z, bronze medallist at the World Championship for young horses in Lanaken at age 7, then member of the Belgian team at the European Championship in 2015 with Judy Ann Melchior. ARTOS Z, like ANNATOU Z's dam RINNETOU Z, has twice taken part in the World Cup final.

Second Dam : RINNETOU Z

RINNETOU Z, her dam, was a great international winner under Piet Raijmakers, with whom she won numerous GPs (7 in a row!) and GP-Ws and took part in two World Cup finals. She left just as important a mark, if not more so, on the world of breeding. She is the dam of the performance stallion CHARDONNAY Z (CARETANO), who has himself produced international performers and approved stallions.

But it was undoubtedly through her daughters that RINNETOU Z produced the best of her progeny. Indeed, his first daughter, APRIL LOVE Z, is the dam of Denis Lynch's great international winner, ALL STAR 5 (ARGENTINUS), European team champion and 10th individually in Göteborg in 2017, and 10th individually, 9th at the JEM in Caen, 2nd and 5th in World Cup finals, winner of the CSIO5* GP in Barcelona etc., stallion. She is also the dam of approved stallion PASO DOBLE Z ex PILARO (PILOT) and the second dam of several stallions, including QUEL HOMME (Quidam de Revel), and very good international horses including PSG PETIT PRINCE (ACOBAT II), CSIO5*. Through another of her daughters, CANTEREL (CALVARO Z) RINNETOU Z is also the second dam of Guillaume Foutrier's international winner FAIRNESS HERO Z (FLIPPER D'ELLE), CSI5*-W, herself dam of ELVIRA DE BORNIVAL (ELVIS TER PUTTE), CSIYH2* and CSI 2* at 6, and own brothers by AGANIX DU SEIGNEUR ACALIX HERO Z, CSI, and FIGARO DE KALVARIE, CSI, stallion, as well as the third dam of international performance stallion DON DARCO DE BORNIVAL Z (DARCO). Finally, RINNETOU Z's youngest daughter AIR FRANCE Z (AIR JORDAN Z) is the dam of international winner DARJINA HERO Z (DARCO), ridden by Jérôme Guery.

Third dam: WENCKE Z

ANNATOU Z's second dam, WENCKE Z, has produced some exceptional offspring: five of her six offspring have had show jumping careers at over 1.40 m, and two of them are also approved stallions, RIVAL Z (RAMIRO Z) and above all VIRTUAL VILLAGE ZALZA (ZEUS), notably winner of the CSI5* London-Olympia Masters with Nick Skelton.

WENCKE is also the second dam of ABSALOM Z (ALADIN Z), who had a top-level career under Michael Whitaker.

Her Hanoverian maternal line 3194601, SCHRIDDE 327, family 1039 is that of the excellent international mare FAIRNESS III Z, with whom Hartwig Steenken broke through on the international scene, and who also produced the performance stallions AMARETTO I, II and IV (ALEXIS Z) and their own brothers the great international winner APRICOT D (7th in the WBFSH world rankings in 1999 and team silver medallist at the Barcelona Olympic Games with Hugo Simon), and more recently TAALEX, CSIO 5* with Constant van Paesschen and Grégory Wathelet, stallion, ACOLITO, OAK GROVE'S AH, DIRTY SANCHEZ, FOR FAIRNESS, LALIQUE DEL CHIRONE etc...
