Origins

Sire : BALDINI II

Son of BALDINI I who produced great champions such as BARETTO and COMTESS III who competed in events up to 1m60. Indeed, BARETTO ranked first in many CSI3 and 4*, we can notably mention his victory at Lamprechtshausen in Austria or at El Jadida in Morocco. COMTESS III finished 2nd at the CSIO5* in Gijon in Spain and also achieved numerous rankings in high-level events.

Dam : ORLIS I

ORLIS is a daughter of the Holsteiner stallion CALIDO I (CANTUS). Thanks to the earnings of his progeny of more than 2.78 million euros during his whole life, CALIDO I can be considered as one of the best Holstein stallions.

Outstanding examples :

• COUPE DE CŒUR, (three times German Champion with Rene Tebbel and Ludger Beerbaum and, in 2011, the stallion with the most success at the European Championships with Henrik von Eckermann).
• NOBLESSE M, winner of the Grand Prix in 2007 in Helsinki.
• LA CORONIA ridden by Pius Schwizer.
• EUROCOMMERCE ACAPULCO which was Vice-Champion of the Netherlands with Gerco Schröder.
• ORLIS I, who also had a short sporting career under the name CHARISMATICA, also produced the famous mare BELLA DONNA. BELLA DONNA was for several years one of the best mares in the world, succeeding under the saddle of Meredith Michels-Beerbaum.

Second dam : VERONA I

VERONA I produced three approved stallions :

• ATHLETICO
• CHARISMA I
• CHARISMA II.

She is the sister of the stallions ACCORD I, II and III.

Third dam : GERLIS

 A uterine-sister of GERLIS, by COR DE LA BRYERE, produced the famous stallion BURGRAAF, sire of several horses who distinguished themselves at the highest level.
